THE NYC WOMEN'S ART COLLECTIVE
About
OUR MISSION

Our mission is to encourage, strengthen and ignite artists who are so bravely in pursuit of their dreams. Committed to the spiritual, emotional, and physical health of all, we are focused on creating a  judgment-free, safe space for female-identifying and genderqueer creators to connect, explore, and share their art at every stage of creation. WAC is not exclusive, and all peoples are encouraged to be a part of our community.

Curating a creative career takes a tremendous amount of time, energy, and bravery, which is why we started The NYC Women's Art Collective help connect and support female- identifying artists in NYC.  We believe in the value of companionship, and the power of collaboration over competition. Through our monthly meetings, weekly features, and on-going performance events, we hope to grow this supportive community and aim to provide tools and resources for artists.
